Lüge, die absichtlich geäußerte Unwahrheit. Ueber die sogenannte Nothlüge frage Jeder sein Herz, ein anderes Gericht urtheilt darüber nicht. Eine seltsame Wirkung bringt die Lüge oft auf den Lügner selbst hervor, die nämlich, daß er sie selbst am Ende glaubt. (S. Selbsttäuschung.)
